The “Street Photography Experience” Day
We head to the beautiful, and Historic City of Winchester to experience the exciting art of ‘Life Reportage' (a.k.a Street Photography). It’s a City where the light is always beautiful, the people are truly wonderful and where 'Street' opportunities abound. It’s a fast paced day but we’ll work on strategies and technique to boost your confidence in this exciting genre.
The “Landscape Experience” Day
For this Experience, there’s no better place than the South Downs National Park which is situated to the East of the City of Winchester. You’ll discover some of the best Landscape Photography opportunities in the South of England whilst we review the skills, techniques and equipment associated with this genre, be prepared to produce some incredible pieces of Landscape Art.
The “Winchester Experience” Day
Perfect for the Photographer interested in History, Architecture and Atmosphere, this is a wonderful opportunity to discover the secrets of the Historic City of Winchester. We visit some of the best photography opportunities in England’s charismatic ancient Capital. We also visit Winchester Cathedral and a host of other historic attractions.
The “Vintage Camera Experience” Day
We meet in the charismatic City of Winchester. Over a coffee we spend a couple of hours learning to use one of Four Vintage Cameras. It won't be long before we head out the for the rest of the day to take advantage of the treasure trove of Photographic opportunity. There's nothing like a film camera for teaching you many important skills in Photography, you'll discover important techniques for obtaining images with the character associated with these Classic Photographic instruments. Should you wish to bring your Digital Camera as well, then you are welcome to do so. Your choice of Vintage cameras/lenses include:
The instrument of choice for Cartier Bresson, the Leica 111f with 50mm Summitar F2 lens.
The Legendary Nikon F3 35mm Film Camera with 28mm, 50mm, 55mm micro,105mm, 135mm and 200mm lenses.
The incredible Konica Hexar with Fixed 35mm f2 lens.
The unbeatable Medium Format Camera, the Bronica Etrsi and lenses.
The day includes two 36 exposure films and developing/scanning (Results normally within 10 working Days) The images will be sent to you by email and we will review them via a follow up Zoom call within three weeks of the Experience Day (Please note that this option is available weekdays only).
The “Flower Photography Experience” Day
For this Experience we meet at one of the amazing gardens in Southern Hampshire, where the day is yours. We can review the skills, techniques and equipment associated with this amazing genre before heading out into the gardens. Or, we can get ‘dig in’ and discover how to find the best Flower Photography opportunities. No matter what your experience, stand by to be amazed at the beauty of the images you will be capturing.
