There are so many worthy charities, and like most of us, I have the greatest respect and gratitude for them all. I never cease to be amazed by the dedication of the people who ‘give their all' to these causes. Our world is certainly a better place because of their work.
Whilst I’ve raised money for several charities over the years, I decided that the environment is where I'd like to target my efforts for the foreseeable future. We've done so much damage over the years, and most of our problems stem from the way we treat our planet, and nature.
I support two environmental charities, one an International charity and the other is U.K. orientated. Both are excellent examples of the many thousands of charities made up of ‘the few’, striving to encourage the small but positive actions of ‘the many’.
2.5% of profits from my Print Sales and Courses are donated to these Charities (Income from international buyers is channeled to The Environmental Investigation Agency, and income from U.K. buyers is channeled to CPRE The Countryside Charity).
The Environmental Investigation Agency
For over a quarter century, EIA has been recognized by government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and independent journals, like Global Environmental Change, for its extraordinary work on the ground and at the heart of solving global environmental problems. Our team can be found in the field working with civil society collecting information, deeply entrenched in research and data analysis, and at international negotiating platforms poised to propose solutions that work.
Our interlocking campaign program works to protect threatened wildlife, forests, and our global climate. Divided among these three core areas, we are determined to protect the environment with intelligence.
CPRE
The Countryside Charity
We believe in countryside and green spaces that are accessible to all, rich in nature and playing a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency.
With a local CPRE group in every county, we’re advocating nationwide for the kind of countryside we all want: one with sustainable, healthy communities and available to more people than ever, including those who haven’t benefited before.
We stand for a countryside that enriches all of our lives, regenerating our wellbeing, and that we in turn regenerate, protect and celebrate.
We’ve worked for almost a century to support and promote the countryside, and we’ll be doing this for generations to come. That’s why we call ourselves ‘the countryside charity’.
